Featured Article: My Journey in IT – Datacentered Magazine

I’m thrilled to share that I was recently featured in Datacentered – the magazine dedicated to the European data center and digital infrastructure industry. This in-depth article captures not only my professional journey but the moments and milestones that have shaped me, as I transitioned from hands-on technical work in datacenters to leadership in IT strategy and cybersecurity.

The piece takes readers into a world that, while often hidden, powers the technology we rely on every day. My connection to this world runs deep. From the early days in datacenters, immersed in hardware maintenance and late-night troubleshooting, to now advocating for diversity and inclusion in IT, this journey has been transformative. We explored the challenges of breaking stereotypes in the industry and the importance of welcoming diverse voices and talents into these spaces.

The feature wouldn’t be complete without the stunning photoshoot that accompanied it. Returning to the datacenter – this time not in my old T-shirt but in a dress and makeup – was a powerful, personal reflection of how far both I and the industry have come.
